The Lakeside Collection Announce Recall of Quincrafts Recalls Makit & Bakit Garden Deluxe Suncatcher Set Due to Risk of Lead Exposure

The following product safety recall was voluntarily conducted by Quincrafts. Consumers should take the recalled jewelry away from young children and contact Quincrafts for further instructions. Please see details listed below.

Name of Product: Makit & Bakit Garden Deluxe Suncatcher Set

Units: 8,088 sets

Importer: Quincrafts, of Dexter, Mich.

Hazard: The kit contains a metal bracelet with a clasp closure. The clasp contains high levels of lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.

Incidents/Injuries: None reported.

Description: The garden deluxe suncatcher kit includes a necklace and bracelet with the metal clasp closure. The package of the recalled product will contain a UPC code #765468431314 and package label with the catalog designation code SU4-GRD.

Sold by: The recalled item listed above was sold on The Lakeside Collection website and January 2008 closeout catalog. The bouquet and sports suncatcher kits featured in the same advertisement are not affected by the recall. The garden suncatcher kits were shipped to customers between October 2007 and April 2008 for $5.95.

Manufactured in: China

Remedy: Consumers should immediately take the recalled jewelry away from young children and contact Quincrafts for a replacement jewelry set.
