Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hard to assemble My son loved it regardless of us not putting all the loops and "twistys" on it. The directions are not very clear, the pictures are black and white . If it showed directions in color, it still would have been hard to understand , but at least do-able. Very vague, needless to say, all those pieces have yet to be put on, but my son is content with the cars and small roads it already had somewhat applied. Just no, slides and loops.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too many pieces I bought this for my grandson. I thought it would be convenient to fold up and take places. Yes it does fold up, once you take it apart. I didn't realize you would have to take it apart and put the pieces back together every time you use it. It seams okay other than that.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A gift from Santa.... This playset was the number one thing on my 7 yr old son's Christmas list. After reading the reviews and trying to nudge him towards something more his age and quality... This was still number one. Santa delivered this gift underneath our tree and after 2 full days with it, we have realized the following: you have to take just about everything apart to get it to close - no fun, it must have taken Santa forever to put the stickers on and everything in its place (2 hours), and it did not live up to his expectations. Oh well... Maybe Santa will read our review and improve upon it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Take along fire station a disapointment It's only a take along after you disassemble most of the parts to close it. Cars are so tiny and they roll off the tracks easily. In the process of returning it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Trouble!!! I brought for my grandson for Christmas. Glad I started now. Work instructions are terrible. For $36 all stickers should have been placed. Also all parts that could have been placed should have been. Very unhappy with this product!! He may love it but I would have not bought knowing I had to assemble!! Not happy!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from “ Best Seller!” Can’t be..... This is a decent enough toy once an engineering graduate puts it together, but it really isn’t for a three year old. I’m 67 and quite adept at assembly but I had a hard time with figuring out the stickers! The black and white diagram had numbers on it for placement of the stickers, but the stickers on the sheet weren’t numbered. Then it really isn’t a Take Along type of toy, since you have to take a lot of it apart for it to close up. Then the stuff you took off, to close it, has no where to be stored and it doesn’t fit inside loose either.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Interactive! Pros: *Good value compared to pricing from other companies for similar item *Very interactive-many obstacles to try out, car launcher is a favorite! *Provides ample space to allow a few kids to play at the same time Cons: *Biggest con for me as a parent is that there is some disassembly needed before it can be folded back up into a fire engine for storage *The plastic is the brittle type, not flexible--we had a ramp clip break on the first day, luckily it still works for the cars
