Caught Fire! Do not place in Microwave
"Should be a warning! Bowl cozies in general aren’t meant to be microwaved bc the stitching threads aren’t fire resistant. Cozies are meant to remove bowls from the microwave AFTER warming your food not to be placed inside during the warming process. I’ve known that but my mom didn’t and it caught fire when she microwaved it with her food. Recipients of gifts and buyers should be warned! When used correctly it is a great idea to protect hands. I use them like hot mitts and when my food is done microwaving I grab the bowl with the cozy and transfer it to the table. Be careful."
