"Looks great. Fairly easy to assemble. However, screws for top were too long, so “broke” through top. Either thicken top or actually include the shorter screws that were mentioned."

Do not buy - waste of money

"I ordered this crate before Thanksgiving, and I still haven’t been able to assemble it. It arrived with no instructions, so I reached out to customer service. Even though I provided my order number and regularly receive emails from them at my current email address, they insisted my email “wasn’t up to date. ” From there, I had an unexpectedly difficult time proving that I was the actual purchaser because the only email they had on file was one I haven’t used in decades. Since I no longer have access to that old address, they said they couldn’t help me. It turned into a frustrating back‑and‑forth just to get them to agree to send the instructions — which should have been included with the crate in the first place. When I called, they still couldn’t provide the instructions themselves. Instead, they had to submit a request to another department, and I waited over a week before I finally received an email — which was sent to my work email, not the email I had specifically asked them to use. Once I finally got the instructions, I discovered that several required parts were missing from the box. I had to request additional parts, which has delayed assembly even further. To make things more confusing, a couple of bolts were included that the instructions say I won’t need at all. At this point, I still can’t assemble the crate because I’m waiting on the replacement parts. The entire experience has been far more frustrating and time‑consuming than it should have been."

Dog crate

"I bought this dog crate a year or so ago & it has failed to stand up, the black trim piece that holds the door intact has broken in several pieces, particle board, very disappointed."

Beautiful but useless

"This is beautiful but one of the wheels fell off and now the door is half off."

Beautiful but cheap material

"Bought it for our new Boston Terrier pup. The material was so cheap I had to be careful as the screws would strip out the cheap particle wood it is made out of, and a Crumb from a chocolate chip cookie scratched the roof. Being SUPER careful it's okay, but the lock does not work in any capacity. If you can secure it differently than you're good. We use the above kennel when running errands he can't come on. And the pretty but cheap one for when he just wants to nap away from kids. Beautiful but should be listed for a cheaper price or use better quality wood/particle board."

Love it

"I bought this and received it 2 weeks ago. I love it that it does not look like a crate for my dog."

A big mess

"It took two of us about two hours to get the first two pieces together. The screw stripped the paper interior and we ended up using super glue and flex seal to keep the pieces together. Now I have all these pieces stem around the room and no one to help me get r this together. I'm not happy at all."

Perfect for a lite duty crate.

"I almost didn’t purchase this after reading the reviews, but after looking for alternatives at 4 times the price, I decided to make a go of this one and I’m so glad I did. I laid out all the parts and followed the instructions only using a hand tightening Phillips screw driver and had it completed in 1 hour. One person and no problems, I love the look, and my geriatric dogs love using it. Power tools should not be used on this project, nor are they needed. The materials used for the wood are compressed particular board and may not withstand puppy chewing, but my old dogs do not fall into that category. Depending on your circumstances this may or may not be the crate for you, but the ease of installation following the given instructions anyone should be able to complete."

Product was fine.

"So the overall finish isn't the best. But they are worth it if you don't want to make it yourself. That was the reason I settled for this item. I purchased two of them and they came with all the required fastners and instructions weren't terrible, I've dealt with worse. To eliminate the issue others had with screws coming through the top, just pay attention to the hardware list and set out all your screws before hand. Also before tightening the screws down physically inspect the screw length is not too long. My complaint is with Lakeside. I placed my order and it was received 3 weeks later. I could have ordered the item from other suppliers, directly through China and had the same turn around time, but pay less. . . That's my issue, I have a problem paying a markup on china goods via Lakeside when I still had to wait the same amount of time as if I ordered through China myself. Maybe they could list on the product pages what items they have in stock, and the actual turnaround times furthermore, I was charged substantial shipping charges, and the order was over 200$ I doubt I will ever order through this company again."
