"I purchased these sailboat planters for part of a nautical theme party and they were cheap looking and poorly made. I called Customer Service for the 7. 99 return label and was told to take myself to Fed Ex to get my own. It was going to cost me almost as much as I paid in shipping to return! They should honor the wording on the shipping slip that stated returns will be subject to the 7. 99 return label fee. I was told the policy changed but it was not updated on their paperwork, that’s on them not me. Will not purchase from Lakeside again poor quality and poor customer service."

"Love this boat planter. It really has so many options for use. Currently mine is filled with sea theme potpourri and sits on a coffee table. Yes, it is not a deep planter but find a plant that would be ideally suited and does not grow quickly. Again, you could use this as an accent piece anywhere in your home, especially if you live in a seaside community. Get creative!"

"I LOVE these boats, they are really nice! I had no idea that they were made from metal, I originally thought that they were made out of wood. I appreciate the hole in the bottom of the boats for water drainage."
Not very deep for plants
"When I received the planters they were much smaller than expected. I did read the dimensions but the depth in which to plant is only about 2 inches. Very small plants are the only thing that can be planted in them, so if that is what you are looking to plant than it’s perfect. That aside, they are well made with one drainage hole at the bottom. I’m glad I ordered two because just one would have looked lost in my garden."
